O Allah , separate me from my sins as You have separated the East from the West

Du’a at the start of the prayer Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger ﷺ used to keep silent between the Takbir and the recitation of Qur'an and that interval of silence used to be a short one. I said to the Prophetﷺ “May my parents be sacrificed for you! What do you say in the pause between Takbir and recitation?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "I say,  اللَّهُمَّ بَاعِدْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ خَطَايَايَ كَمَا بَاعَدْتَ بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ، اللَّهُمَّ نَقِّنِي مِنْ خَطَايَايَ، كَمَا يُنَقَّى الثَّوْبُ الْأَ بْيَضُ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْسِلْنِي مِنْ خَطَايَايَ بِالثَّلْجِ وَالْمَاءِ وَالْبَرَدِ Allaahumma baa'id baynee wa bayna khataayaaya kamaa baa'adta baynal-mashriqi walmaghribi, Allaahumma naqqinee min khataayaaya kamaa yunaqqath-thawbul-'abyadhu minad-danasi, Allaahum-maghsilnee min khataayaaya, bith-thalji walmaa'i walbarad O Allah , separate me from my sins as You have separated the East from the West. O Allah, cleanse me of my transgressions as the white garment is cleansed of stains . O Allah , wash away my sins with ice and water and frost. Allaahumma innee a'oothu bika min sharri sam'ee

Shakal bin Humaid (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I asked: “O Messenger of Allah, teach me a prayer.” He  ﷺ said, “Say:

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, and from the evil of my sight, and from the evil of my tongue, and from the evil of my heart and from the evil of my issue.

O Allah, I seek Your forgiveness and Your protection in this world and the next.

O Allah, I seek Your forgiveness and Your protection in my religion, in my worldly affairs, in my family and in my wealth.

O Allah, conceal my secrets and preserve me from anguish.

O Allah, guard me from what is in front of me and behind me, from my left, and from my right, and from above me. I seek refuge in Your Greatness from being struck down from beneath me.

The Supplication of Al-Muttaqin

Allah describes the Muttaqin, His pious servants, whom He promised tremendous rewards,

(Those who say: “Our Lord! We have indeed believed”) in You, Your Book and Your Messenger.

(so forgive us our sins) because of our faith in You and in what You legislated for us. Therefore, forgive us our errors and shortcomings, with Your bounty and mercy,

(and save us from the punishment of the Fire.)

O Allaah forgive all my sins, the minute of them and the major of them

“O Allah, forgive me for those sins which have come to pass as well as those which shall come to pass, and those I have committed in secret as well as those I have made public, and where I have exceeded all bounds as well as those things about which You are more knowledgeable. You are Al-Muqaddim and Al-Mu-akhkhir. None has the right to be worshipped except You.”
